Randall Bailey, President of Jonesboro Residents Against Illegal Drugs (RAID) presented Craighead County DARE Officer Jamey Carter and Sheriff Marty Boyd a check for $10,000 today. This represents the proceeds from the RAID Supports DARE Tournament held in April; this was the 18th annual tournament. The Craighead County DARE program consists of five schools (Bay, Brookland, BIC, Riverside, and Westside) and is taught in both 5th and 7th grades. The donation from RAID covers the majority of the curriculum, but donations are always welcome. For more information on how you can help, contact Deputy Carter at jcarter@craigheadso.org or go to our DARE page.
