This morning, the Girls' Advisory at Brookland Middle School hosted their annual Breakfast with a Cop. All of the area law enforcement officers were invited to gather in Mrs. Henderson's 6th grade class for a breakfast buffet that was filled to the brim with everything one could imagine. The purpose for the gathering is for the girls' to show the officers appreciation for the sacrifices they give daily to keep the community safe. This is also a chance for all the different agencies to get together and fellowship in a safe environment, one away from the stresses of work. It is also an opportunity for the girls to show civic mindedness and the joys of helping others.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who were involved in this production. A lot of work went into the event, from decorations, food, cooking, drinks, and organization. The food and fellowship was appreciated by all of the agencies represented. Thank you for doing what you do.
